After the 1,000 year reign of Jesus on earth with His bride is finished the devil is loosed from the bottomless pit for a short season. The devil gathers the people of the earth again to do battle with Jesus and the bride.

The people now number as the sands of the sea after 1,000 years. John sees the city of Jerusalem encircled with the people of the earth driven by the evil spirit of the devil for one last time. Verse nine proclaims that God showers fire down from heaven devouring the armies of the devil in a moment ending the war. Revelation 20:7-9

            The devil is cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone with the beast (political anti-christ) and false prophet (spiritual anti-christ) to be tormented for ever and ever, never to be loosed again. This is the Great White Throne of Judgement were all the dead are resurrected to stand before judgement. Verse 15 makes it plan that everyone who is not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire to be tormented for ever and ever. Revelation 20:10; 20:11-15
